Sao Do Group has recently collaborated with RMIT University to organize the “Cyber Security” training course, aiming to enhance the awareness of officers and employees about network security and information safety.
In the era of digital technology, information security has become a top concern for businesses, organizations, and individuals. According to a report from the Ministry of Information and Communications, in 2023, there were 12,846 reported and guided responses to cyberattacks, an increase of 5.3% compared to the same period in 2022. The main targets of these attacks were government agencies, banks, financial institutions, and other critical systems. Recognizing the importance of information security not only helps protect personal data and business assets but also contributes to ensuring national security.”
“Cyber Security” training course, jointly organized by Sao Do Group and RMIT University, took place over three days from March 20th to March 22nd, 2023, with the aim of providing basic and advanced training in information security for participants from both within and outside the Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park.
On March 20th, the theme was “Information Security Ambassador Training”, focusing on enhancing participants ‘s awareness of information security, guiding them on how to recognize, handle, and respond to information incidents within their enterprises. On March 22nd and 23rd, the theme shifted to ”Information Security Leadership Training” offering a more in-depth course that instructed participants on how to address incidents through Information Security Management (ISM), the NIST framework, ISACA; controlling access and ensuring comprehensive information protection. The course content was designed to be practical, allowing participants to immediately apply their newfound knowledge to their daily work within their enterprises.
The “Network Information Security Training” course is the next program organized in collaboration between Sao Do Group and RMIT University following the success of the logistics workforce training course on April 1st, 2023. This program offers a series of courses that meet international standards, focusing on enhancing skills, training new staff, and middle management of enterprises within the Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park under The SaoDo Group.
Previously, the two entities had signed a memorandum of understanding on “Collaboration in Developing Human Resources Training for Hai Phong City” in September 2022. This was a significant milestone for both parties with the aim of contributing to the establishment of a skilled and adaptable workforce through short-term training courses for workers. Specifically, Sao Do Group provided financial support for human resources development programs, while RMIT University designed training models that meet the practical requirements of Hai Phong City.
The success of the “Information Security Training” course is evidence of Sao Do Group’s serious investment and commitment to providing high-quality workforce training in the Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park and Hai Phong City. Sao Do Group also expects that upon completion of the course, participants will be able to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired to apply them effectively in real-world situations. Furthermore, the success of the course serves as a foundation for Sao Do Group and RMIT University to continue collaborating on future training programs.
