Investors are paying more attention to factors such as wastewater treatment systems, renewable energy usage, and environmentally responsible operations when choosing locations. The forum was also part of the International Exhibition on Industry and Manufacturing 2026, held in Hai Phong from April 15 to 17. The event created an important platform for businesses, investors, and policymakers to exchange ideas and identify future cooperation opportunities. It also highlighted the city’s growing role in regional industrial development discussions.

This strong participation reflects growing confidence in the city’s industrial future. However, experts also emphasized that Hai Phong still needs to improve regional connectivity, strengthen supply chain organization, and enhance the quality of its industrial ecosystem to fully capture the next wave of investment. Better coordination between infrastructure planning and industrial expansion will be necessary to maintain this momentum and improve the city’s response to changing global investment trends.
