According to the industrial cluster development plan to 2020 and vision to 2025, Hai Phong will have 12 new industrial clusters by 2020, providing an additional 1,080 hectares and an expected capacity of 70%. By 2025, the scale of industrial land will increase by 1,377 hectares and the estimated capacity will reach 80-90%. In the future, if the entire economic zone, industrial zone, and the industrial cluster are “filled”, it will attract about 250,000 laborers, of which a significant part will be workers in suburban and suburban provinces.
